Lap 19 - Gateway, Detroit, Barcelona, Le Mans Preview, and more!

Our buddy "Caboose" joins us this week on the Lap Zero Podcast. We had a very eventful weekend of racing. NASCAR showed us that the shortest race of the year can be the longest. Indy Car at the new Detroit street circuit was insane to say the least, but are all these street tracks bringing good racing to the table? Formula 1 put on a good show in Barcelona and showed us Mercedes may be a force to be reckoned with for the rest of the year. Le Mans is this weekend! Norman and "Caboose" help pump us up. Lap 18 - Monaco, Indy 500, Coke 600, and more!

The guys sit down and chat about the biggest weekend in motorsport on this edition of the Lap Zero Podcast. Memorial Day weekend proved to be a memorable one kicking off with the Monaco Grand Prix. Formula 1 at Monaco is never crazy exciting but at least we got some rain to spice things up. The Indy 500 was great (except for Jules National Anthem lol) and reminded us all that being a race fan comes with some risks. The Coke 600 was delayed due to weather to Monday but still provided some interesting racing. Antonio takes us through the race and tells us more about some of the penalties that came from this weekend. Also, we get ready for the Barcelona Grand Prix with some "In it, Win it, and Bin it" so stick around for another feature filled episode of the Lap Zero Podcast.

Lap 17 - All-Star Race, Indy 500 Prerace, Monaco Prerace, and more!

The biggest weekend in racing is here folks. The guys sit down and prepare for the huge weekend ahead on this edition of the Lap Zero Podcast. The NASCAR All-Star Race was an awesome event but left much to be desired with the short-track package. The Coke 600 sold out for the second year in a row, but TV numbers are down. What can NASCAR do to keep TV viewers interested? The 107th running of the Indy 500 is this weekend and we couldn't be more excited! We cover some history, race facts, driver news, and other topics. Last but not least, the Monaco Grand Prix also runs this weekend after Imola was cancelled due to rain and flooding. We should be seeing some upgrades and maybe some wet weather so hold onto your hats and maybe grab an umbrella for one heck of a race weekend here with the Lap Zero Podcast.

The guys sit down for a long discussion about everything in the racing world this week on the Lap Zero Podcast. NASCAR at Darlington was a great race, but has Ross Chastain pushed too far? We discuss as we prepare for the All-Star Race this weekend. Norman gives us the breakdown of the Indy and IMSA races at the Indianapolis Road Course and Laguna Seca. We are so happy the month of May is here! Formula 1 was scheduled to race in Italy this weekend, but due to terrible flooding in the area, the Grand Prix at Imola was canceled. We found this out after we sat down for this chat but we all thought you might like to hear our takes and enjoy some F1 talk on this now quiet weekend.  So buckle up for this edition of the Lap Zero Podcast.

Lap 14 - Josh Green, Dover, Baku, Barber, and more!

This week on the Lap Zero Podcast, the Driver of the #3 HMD Motorsports Indy NXT Car, Josh Green, joins us after his weekend at Barber. All of our favorite series are back on track but not all of them panned out. NASCAR at Dover was a decent race and had a few controversial moments. The Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix was all but grand. Even with the media crew almost getting taken out in the pitlane at the end of the race, it was still one of the more boring races we have seen in a while. Norman was at Barber this weekend and takes us through Sunday from a "grandstand" point of view. All the while, Josh Green sticks around to discuss his career, experiences, future, and even offers some free sim-racing advice on another edition of the Lap Zero Podcast.

This week on the Lap Zero Podcast, the guys talk safety! NASCAR ran at Martinsville this last weekend. Between Chase Elliot's comeback and Kevin Harvick's stage win, it was overall a pretty good race. Our iRacing league, League Zero, just wrapped up the season. We cover some results and expectations for the future. Indy car gave us a thriller at Long Beach, but raised some safety concerns. Should marshals be allowed on track under a yellow? Formula 1 has taken their stance, but the AMR Safety team showed us that they seem to think it's ok. Also, are safety rules across all categories getting too strict?
